CollaboRATE will be used in a new study of shared decision-making in Chile. Principal investigator, Dr. Paulina Bravo, needed a brief survey patients could use to rate their experience of participation in medical decision making during childbirth. She requested permission to use CollaboRATE, which we were happy to grant. Dr. Bravo will be using the new Spanish translation when her project begins in December 2014.
Dr. Bravo says, "This is the first time women's participation in medical decision making during childbirth will be measured in Chile. Additionally, this is an innovative SDM-oriented project in the country. We are really excited about it, this is a great opportunity to discuss users' participation and examine the model of care we are offering to women and their families. We are grateful to have Dr. Rachel Thompson in the research team. We thank Prof. Elwyn and his team for giving us the permission to use CollaboRATE"
